Fabrics may be spot-cleaned with mild soap and water, or machine washed in cold water on delicate cycle using mild detergent. Hang to dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH.

Removing the Seat Pad:

Remove Harness Straps from Harness Slots as described in "Changing Harness Height." Unhook elastic band attached around handle pivots, and disconnect chest clip and buckle. Carefully pull seat pad from under Adjuster Cover. ADJUSTER COVER MUST REMAIN IN PLACE. Guide harness assembly through slots in bottom of seat pad, while removing from Carrier.

NEVER remove Harness or harness components from Carrier. If harness is extremely soiled or damaged, Call Chicco to order a replacement.

Cleaning Plastics:

Sponge clean using warm water and mild soap. Towel dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH, solvents, or household cleaners, as they may weaken the plastics.

Cleaning Harness and LATCH Straps:

The cover is not removable. Clean the fabric parts with a damp sponge and neutral detergent. Please refer to the product's care label. Routinely wipe clean plastic parts with a soft damp cloth. Always dry the metal parts to prevent the formation of rust if the stroller has come into contact with water.

Maintenance:

Lubricate the moving parts only if necessary, with a light application of a silicone-based lubricant. Routinely check the condition of the wheels and all moving parts. Keep them free from dust, dirt or sand. To avoid friction, that may prevent the correct use of the stroller, ensure that all the movable plastic parts located along the metal frame are free from dust, dirt or sand. Keep the stroller in a dry place.

 

C6/Capri

The cleaning and maintenance of the stroller must only be carried out by an adult.

Cleaning:

Periodically wipe the plastic parts of the stroller clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive, ammonia-based, bleach-based, or spirit type cleaners. Always dry the metal parts to prevent rust from forming. Avoid exposure to saltwater or seawater as this may cause rust to form.

Maintenance:

Regularly inspect locking devices, brakes, harness assemblies, catches, seat adjustors, joints, and fixings to ensure that they are secure and in full working order. Brakes, wheels, and tires are subject to wear and should be replaced if necessary with parts supplied by the manufacturer. Lubricate only if necessary. Should the parts become stiff or difficult to operate, first ensure that dirt is not causing the problem. Then, lightly apply a silicone-based lubricant between the components. Do not overspray, as this may cause dirt to accumulate.

Fabric:

Please note that the seat fabric on this stroller is not removable or waterproof. Before cleaning, refer to the instructions on the care label. Avoid exposure to damp conditions. If the stroller does get damp, leave it fully opened in a warm environment. Dry off with a soft cloth. If you store the stroller when it is damp, mildew may form.

 

Frame Carrier

3-in-1 Steam Sterilizer

Cleaning:

Make sure the Sterilizer is unplugged and the power cord is disconnected before cleaning. Clean Sterilizer regularly. After each use allow to cool down completely, pour out leftover water and dry the inside thoroughly. Use a soft damp cloth to clean the Sterilizer. Do NOT use bleach or any other harsh chemicals. Sterilizer is NOT dishwasher safe. Dry thoroughly before storing. Store in a dry place. When cleaning the Electric Base, never immerse it in water or any other liquid. 

Maintenance:

The normal use of the Sterilizer can cause the formation of scale residue on the heating plate. Excessive scale residue may cause incorrect operation and prevent proper sanitation of the objects inserted in the appliance, and/or causing permanent damage to the appliance. To descale the Electric Base make sure it is unplugged and has cooled down completely. Fill reservoir with a solution of equal parts water and vinegar and let soak overnight. Do NOT run the unit through a sanitation cycle. After it has soaked overnight, empty out the water and vinegar solution. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

 

Bottles & Nipples

Cleaning:

Before First Use: Sterilize in boiling water for 5 minutes. Allow to cool completely and dry thoroughly. When reassembling bottle, make sure the cap ring is screwed tightly on to the Feeding Bottle to avoid leaking. Pull up on the Feeding Nipple to make sure it is correctly fitted into the cap ring.

To ensure optimal hygiene, always wash and rinse thoroughly before and after each use. Disassemble completely before cleaning. Clean using mild soap and water. Do NOT use bleach or any other harsh chemicals. The Feeding Nipple is not dishwasher safe – All other parts can be washed in the dishwasher - top rack ONLY.

Duo Bottles can be sterilized using an electric sterilizer.

Microwave heating of bottle contents can cause uneven heating and is not recommended.

Cleaning:
Before First Use: 

Non-insulated cups can be sterilized using steam sterilization or cold sterilization. Non-insulated cups can also be sterilized in boiling water for 5 minutes, before first use. Allow to cool completely and dry thoroughly. Do NOT boil or sterilize the insulated cups. All parts are dishwasher safe - top rack ONLY. Use of a dishwasher may accelerate wear.

Using the Silicone Valve:

Pull the Silicone Valve out of the cup lid to remove. When re-attaching the valve, always line up the larger ring with the largest part on the valve. Make sure the valve is completely pushed down into the rings on the cup lid. Note: ALWAYS clean the inside of the cup lid where the valve is attached.

Attaching the Silicone Spout:

Pull the Silicone Spout up through the cup ring. Make sure the air vents on the cup ring are centered in the cutouts on the Silicone Spout.

Attaching the Silicone Rim:

Insert Silicone Rim into the cup ring. Push the groove down until it seals completely around the rib. Before Each Use: Push down on center of the Silicone Rim to ensure a tight seal.

Using the Flip-Top Straw Lid:

Push over on the Sliding Cap to store the straw when not in use. The straw can be removed and separated when cleaning.

The fabric seat can be removed (please refer to section 6 of the product manual and reverse the step). Please refer to the care labels for instructions on how to clean the fabric seat.

It is recommended to periodically wipe clean plastic parts with a soft damp cloth. Always dry the metal parts to prevent the formation of rust if the Walker has come into contact with water.

Clean the electronic play tray with a soft dry cloth to avoid damaging the electronic circuit. Protect the walker and electronic play tray from heat, dust, sand, and water.

Plastic can be cleaned with mild detergent and warm water, no bleach or harsh cleaners/abrasives.

Maintenance:

This product requires regular maintenance. Periodically check the Walker for wear, damage, or missing components. Should any parts be missing or damaged, the Walker must not, under any circumstances, be used.
